Biography

In 2017, an explosive mix of musicians came together at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU): saxophonist Juan José Faccio, cellist Anna Minten, pianist Alice Hohberger, accordionist Magdalena Irmann and percussionist Corentin Marillier. After performances in various constellations (Donaueschingen 2017, Portrait concerts by Bettina Skrzypczak and Alberto Posadas, Festival Wege der Wahrnehmung and New Music Days of HSLU), the group decided to realize further joint projects as a collective in the constantly renewing world of contemporary music. The goal of the collective in general is to organize concerts that appeal to a wide audience through mediation. Their special fascination is the collaboration with composers and the joint premiere of their pieces; as well as the search for new possibilities on (or beside) the instruments - in short: SoundTrieb.
