The Reply contrasts a live performer with a counterpart on video. The two try to overcome their distinctions using sounds and movements, in order to prove that there's no difference between making music and listening to music. Using body sensors, in-ears and intuition, they overcome action and reaction and test the perception of the audience in sensible moments of sonorous communication.
